Operating under the core mission to design, build, and operate integrated economic corridors combining transport, energy, and digital infrastructure, the holding company oversees six distinct subsidiaries.
These branches include Green Motions Telecommunication LLC, which focuses on empowering businesses and people to achieve freedom of movement; Green Motions Technology Research & Development, dedicated to engineering the future and enabling the freedom to build it; Green Motions Biogas & Energy Development, which creates clean energy by utilizing the world’s leftover resources; and Green Motions Construction & Development, responsible for building what is next from foundation to fiber. Expanding the company’s ecosystem further, the organization also includes Green Motions Aerospace (GMA) VERDANT as its spaceborne infrastructure extension, and Green Motions Oceanographic (GMO) ABYSSAL, which handles its deep-sea oceanic extensions. John I. Weakley brings over five decades of expertise in research and development, telecommunications, and engineering innovation. His distinguished career is defined by a passion for solving complex challenges, delivering inventive solutions, and improving global connectivity for businesses and communities. Currently leading Green Motions Holding John leverages his deep technical knowledge to address the needs of customers and corporations, serving both as a consultant and a valued employee. His work spans a wide variety of projects, inventions, and world-changing solutions aimed at enhancing mankind's conditions. John's visionary leadership, technical acumen, and dedication to advancing technology make him a key asset to our organization by seeking innovative and practical solutions for today's interconnected world.
Ahmed Alchaleh
With over a decade of executive leadership, including serving as Vice Chair from January 1999 to July 2009, Ahmed brings extensive experience in strategic management to the role as Principal and Director of the Middle East Division at Green Motions Holding. Previously, he was Vice President at M & I Auto Sales Inc., where he oversaw operations, sales, and international exports from March 1995 to November 1999, handling a diverse portfolio of vehicles and expanding global reach. Ahmed’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in information technologies from the University of Virginia (1995–1999), equipping him with a strong foundation in technology and business innovation. He is dedicated to advancing Green Motions Holding’s presence and impact throughout the Middle East, leveraging his expertise in leadership and international business development.
Mohanad Mahdi
Mohanad Mahdi, PE, CCM, is a program manager with over 25 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects from groundbreaking through closeout. He is known for driving quality, safety, and accountability at every stage, ensuring projects meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and performance standards while remaining on schedule and within budget. His expertise spans comprehensive on-site inspection and real-time field oversight, material testing through certified laboratory processes, and robust scheduling and project controls. Mohanad also ensures thorough construction documentation for compliance and reporting, implements effective maintenance of traffic and traffic control for safe operations, and conducts proactive constructability reviews to identify risks and optimize project outcomes before construction begins.
Michael Weakley
Michael is an accomplished engineer and executive with an extensive background in robotics, wind turbine technology, animatronics, and live event production. His expertise includes technical design, project management, and customer support, spanning across a variety of industries. Michael also brings significant wind turbine engineering experience. He led the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems for wind turbines ranging from 2MW to 4.2MW, including mentoring team members, managing documentation, coordinating energy controls, and resolving SCADA issues. As owner and animatronics Engineer and Designer for Dylis Animatronics, Michael specializes in designing, repairing, programming, budgeting, and managing animatronic and robotic projects for museums and entertainment venues. Michael’s background as he has directed teams and managed budgets for large-scale projects, collaborating with engineers on installations and handling logistics to deliver exceptional live production experiences.
